During the 1970’s, Deerwood was put on the map by being home to several Greater Jacksonville Opens, the predecessor for today’s THE PLAYERS Championship (TPC). The Par 72 course has five sets of tees ranging from 5,463 yards from the reds to 7,223 yards from the championship tees making this course beginner-friendly yet also challenging to the expert golfer.
